Phil can now search the web!
This is a big one. Phil's no longer limited to what he knew at launch. If you ask him something he doesn't have an immediate answer to, whether that's obscure lore, a crafting recipe, or how to optimize your farm layout, he'll search for it in real time and get you an answer.
It happens seamlessly in the background. You just ask, he figures it out!
Fun fact Phil recently dug up: Minecraft villagers were originally called "testificates," and villages existed before the villagers themselves did. The more you know.

Phil's getting to know the real you
Phil now builds a persistent understanding of your play style across all your sessions, not just individual gaming nights. This means your personality profile β the traits Phil picks up based on how you actually play gets more accurate over time.
"Which Character Are You"
And here's where it gets fun: if you're playing Animal Crossing, Phil will tell you which character you're most like based on your personality. It updates as you play, so you might start as a Tom Nook and end up as an Isabelle (or vice versa).
It's the kind of thing you'll want to screenshot and send to your friends. Or argue about. Either way.
We plan to roll this out to more games soon, so if you have a favorite game in mind that you would like support for, let us know!
Nickname You can also add a nickname now in settings. Phil will use it on your character card, and soon he'll be able to greet you by name in-game.
A few other improvements
Auto generated event descriptions Your game sessions will soon have auto-generated descriptions, so you don't have to stare at a blank slate when you're trying to remember what happened last Tuesday.
Capture card support If you're running a more complex AV setup, like a capture card for streaming, Phil now supports that natively.
